The IIUM.fm crew consist of Electronic Media specialised students majoring in Communication who are working in the radio as part of their practicum and practical training. Their radio production works are under close supervision of academic lecturer and mentor, Sir Johanni Saleh, who has more than 20 years of experience in the radio broadcasting industry.
The IIUM.fm crew are working around daily duty roster to prepare the radio station's playlist, deejay programmes, talk shows, daily news, weather, traffic, capsules, public services announcements, and calls for daily prayers (Azan). They would also assist other Electronic Media specialised students on their projects and assignments such as pre-recorded programmes, talk shows or live interviews. Other students of different majors would be assisted as well if they are interested to contribute or promote their course or campus-related activities on the radio.
