IIUM FM has started the new version of news on August 1, 2010 which in Bahasa Melayu. We hope it can attract more linteners to listen to our news. The news will be aired on Monday till Friday at 3.00 pm and 8.00 pm. Its known as BERITA @ 3 and BERITA @ 8.

KUALA LUMPUR: Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (IIUM) hari ini melancarkan radio 'IIUM.fm' dengan siaran secara berterusan (live stream) bagi memberitahu masyarakat universiti dan juga orang ramai serta bekas pelajarnya di seluruh dunia mengenai program dan aktivitinya.
Berucap pada majlis pelancaran itu, Rektor IIUM Prof. Datuk Dr. Syed Arabi Idid berkata walapun ia beroperasi seperti saluran radio, IIUM.fm tidak menggunakan frekuensi yang biasa digunakan oleh saluran radio untuk melakukan siaran langsung.
Katanya, IIUM.fm akan menggunakan live stream untuk membuat siaran di Internet dalam usaha untuk menghubungi bekas pelajar di pelbagai negara di seluruh dunia dan orang ramai bagi berkongsi maklumat terkini mengenai program dan aktiviti universiti.
"IIUM.fm membuat siaran 24 jam setiap hari dan kami menggunakan Inggeris sebagai bahasa perantaraan," kata beliau.

The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) today officially launched the live stream ‘IIUM.fm’ to inform campus community as well as the public and alumni around the world about its programmes and activities.
Speaking at the launch, its Rector Prof Datuk Dr Syed Arabi Idid said although it was being operated like a radio channel, IIUM.fm was not operating using the frequency normally used by radio channels to broadcast live.
He said IIUM.fm would be using live stream to broadcast channel in the internet in its bid to reach many alumni in various countries around the world and the public to share the latest update of the university’s programmes and activities.
